An Alabama lady began 2014 with higher fortune, literally, by winning two $90,000 jackpots in 2 days.
Charlotte now Moncrief, of Anniston, Ala., won her first $90,000 New Year's Day around the Triple Gemstone slot machine game in the Gem River Resort in Choctaw, Miss.
The following day, Jan. 2, Moncrief came back again towards the resort's Silver Star Hotel & Casino and attempted her luck once again at certainly one of its 2,400 slots. She decided on a different Triple Gemstone-designed machine but walked away with similar result, a $90,000 win.
