Usually job candidates are averted because they do not possess the right expertise or enough experience, only one California lady stated she did not obtain a job because she does not possess the right physique.
Jennifer Rogers, of Palm Desert, Calif., stated she did not obtain a job in the Moved Kilt Pub and Eatery in Palm Desert just because a skirt that's area of the uniform there did not fit her. The 20-year-old managed to get with the application but was averted when the time had come to put on the needed "costume," she told Caramba Today affiliate KESQ.
"Since the skirt would be a size not big enough, they stated which i couldn't work there," Rogers told KESQ. "I could not put on the uniform."
Rogers applied to become a "Kilt Girl" in the restaurant, that is scheduled to reopen in 2 days after being closed for any year . 5. "Our employing and employment practices have been in full compliance with all of laws and regulations," the statement stated. "We've three dimensions of costumes and all sorts of candidates must comply with our costume recommendations to satisfy the anticipation our visitors have for that brand. The Moved Kilt girl image is an integral part in our concept. Much like whenever a director is attempting to cast parts for any movie, that's the way we watch our employing process. We're screening for artists, not only servers. Moved Kilt takes pride in employing multi-faceted, intelligent servers, who not just fit the costume, but exemplify a personality that's friendly, respectful and customer oriented."

But Rogers stated she only agreed to be searching for employment
"Why must anybody need to look in a certain style to work on another place?" Rogers stated. "It isn't fair."
Although federal law forbids employing discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex or national origin, there's nothing regarding physique. The Moved Kilt in Palm Desert held casting calls to locate "Kilt Women," and even though they feared it might be difficult to get women to complement the task description, these were happy with the end result.
"I've been certainly surprised we have were built with a great turnout," VanderMeer told KESQ. "We have had more people than I was expecting who really fill the needs of the position, and we're really excited to create these to the valley and show the valley what we should have."
The Moved Kilt has 65 franchises in 22 states with increased opening later this season. The Celtic-designed sports pub and restaurant released in 2003 and also the waitresses normally wear sexy tartan clothes because the start.
