Essential Duties and Responsibilities are
The Authorization Representative is a part of the contact team for our system and appliance vendors and home warranty contract holders. The Authorization Representative is responsible for determining coverage based on the terms and conditions of the contract, properly documenting activity in our data base and professionally discussing course of action with the contract holder as necessary. To ensure employee success, we provide a paid training program with ongoing training throughout the year.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Home appliance or home warranty authorization experience is required
- Professional and friendly attitude
- Personal commitment to punctuality and attendance
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional listening skills with the ability to ask probing questions
- Self-starter with ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment
- Ability to use company CRM database
- Type 30+ wpm
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be willing to complete a background check upon acceptance of employment
