Fidelity National Home Warranty - NO POSITIVE REVIEWS!

Seriously. the fact that this company has all negative reviews should be very telling.Certainly not ALL of us are wrong.

Submitted a claim to fix AC on Monday and even paid the $65 service call fee up front. On Wednesday, still no call from their outsourced servicer. We had to follow up only to be told they don't sevice our area. Called Fidelty back and basically had to chase down someone to assist as temperatures expected to be in the upper 90s.

FINALLY got an AC guy out Wednesday (I'm skipping over the part where he knocked out the electric in our house and Fidelity was NO help in that situation either and forced us to contact an emergency electrician) but he could not repair without a new compressor (fairly standard in the AC world). WithFidelity trying to keep its costs as low as possible, they say it will take 3-5 days to order part. Temps expected to be 100 degrees tomorrow and Saturday and we have advised several times that we have an infant daughter in the house. They will offer NO reasonable assistance (can't even get them to commit to paying for us to go purchase a window unit to use).

The last agent that I spoke to suggested that I purchase a small AC from Walmart but when asked if I would be reimbursed, I am told no to everything. NO ASSISTANCE WHATSOEVER. Have asked for their legal department contact information numerous times and apparently they only have a physical address - no email or telephone. Must be nice to work in 1989.

Cannot in good faith recommend this company to anyone. They will take your money and provide very little in return as their sole interest is saving as much as possible for themselves at the detriment of the consumer.

Reason of review: Not as described.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
