There's without doubt that Jordan is among the finest sports athletes ever. But, his success around the basketball court has not given him a totally free pass if this involves the garments he wears when he's playing other sports: Jordan was banned from Miami's La Gorce Country Club on Wednesday for putting on cargo shorts around the course and declining to alter.
An enthusiastic golfer, Jordan is not an associate in the Jack Nicklaus designed course, but was golfing in the facility as he was contacted by club personnel.
Based on the L.A. Occasions, the six time National basketball association champion was in the center of playing 18 holes as he was requested revisit the clubhouse and alter his cargo shorts. When Jordan declined, the club requested he never return, and that he left.
The La Gorce Country Club rejected to discuss the incident, but an associate told ABCNews.com the club includes a strict dress code which people happen to be punished because of not tucking in t shirts or putting on sandals rather than footwear.
Jordan's repetition launched the next statement concerning the incident:
"Jordan did put on cargo pants. He'd had the experience many occasions before coupled with worn cargo pants formerly, coupled with never occurred conscious that he was breaking any dress code. This time around, he was informed about the breach around the twelfth hole, and at that time he did won't interrupt his game, and go back to the clubhouse and alter. I was unaware that he's not permitted revisit La Gorce. I suppose it's their loss - as MJ is a superb golfer, along with a great guest."
This is not the very first time Jordan's wardrobe originates under fire. Captured, he was seen in the Ryder Cup golf tournament in Medinah, Ill. putting on an exciting blue outfit of cleaned out jeans along with a puffy vest, something which did not sit well with golf aficionados.
