A 17-month-old California girl is incorporated in the custody of the children of kid Protective Services in Kentucky today after being reported missing greater than two several weeks ago.


Alouette Day-Moreno-Baltierra of La was discovered Thursday in the College of Kentucky after two cops received a telephone call in regards to a suspicious lady pushing a stroller around the university's parking area.

College cops Jennifer Ockerman and Emily Cruz viewed as 62-year-old Maria Baltierra-Dejesus pressed an infant stroller inside a school parking area in below-freezing temps. The infant didn't have footwear, mitts or mind covering, police stated.


Once the officials contacted Baltierra-Dejesus, who stated is the child's grandmother, she was uncooperative, police stated.


After further analysis, college officials could locate the youngsters birth record, which indicated the toddler was created in La. The La Police Department stated the kid was reported missing on March. 16 in the 700 block of West Olympic Boulevard close to the business district of La.


"The youngsters mother, Dominique Baltierra, indicated [on March. 16] she would never know the location of her child and mother. "When LAPD requested Baltierra to create the kid, mom declined and it was evasive."


LAPD added the Department of kids and Family Services concurrently placed a warrant in the system for the grandmother and child.


"College police arrested Baltierra-Dejesus around the warrant and also the child ended up being put into protective services," stated Eisenman.


On Friday, the LAPD confirmed Baltierra-Dejesus was the grandmother towards the 17-month-old baby.

"Family people were financially supporting the alleged grandmother because the baby continues to be missing, since October, while she has been on the move using the child," stated Monroe. Monroe stated Baltierra-Dejesus attempted to leave to France or Holland.


"She received sexual released while she was at California, which dated per week prior to the child went missing in October," stated Monroe.


College mother and father billed Baltierra-Dejesus with endangering the welfare of the minor and custodial interference. Further charges is going to be produced from the condition of California.


By today, Baltierra-Dejesus hadn't asked for a lawyer, Monroe stated.


Baltierra-Dejesus is presently receiving treatment in a college healthcare facility. Once she's launched, college police will transfer her to Fayette County Detention Center in Lexington, Ky., where she'll await extradition from California.
