Mitt romney really liked the sandwich computer at wawa

CORNWALL, Penn.—At the ultimate stop on his bus tour here, Mitt Romney expressed confidence that he'll win Pennsylvania this November.

"I will win Pennsylvania," the Republican nominee told an audience of countless hundred people in the Cornwall Iron Furnace, a historic foundry that when was the origin of cannonballs along with other iron items.

But Romney nearly alienated some in the audience by sinking a foot into what is a tense local debate among Pennsylvanians for a long time: Wawa or Sheetz?

The issue which Pennsylvania-based convenience store/sandwich chain is much better has divided citizens for years. But that didn't deter Romney, who'd visited his first Wawa earlier within the day, from polling his audience on where they obtain sandwiches.

"Where would you get the hoagies here? Would you have them at Wawas? Is the fact that in which you have them?Inch Romney requested.

"NOOO!" several people from the audience yelled in reaction.

Romney grinned. "No? You receive them at Sheetz?" he stated.

Once the audience responded within the negative again, Romney appeared surprised. "No?" he stated. "Where would you have them?Inch

As his audience put out names of local delis in reaction, Romney paused after which proceeded to inform the crowd about his visit to Wawa—acknowledging that it may be a tense subject for many in the audience.

"I apologize," he stated. "I understand it is a very large condition divide."

But Romney stated his visit there was "instructive" since it personified the main difference between innovation within the private sector and ale the federal government to complete its job.

What inspired him: A pc at Wawa that enables clients to key in what they need on the sandwich, instead of ordering it via a human cashier. It had been a technology, he stated, that were fostered by competition—competition he stated the us government lacks in delivering its services to People in america. He stated the government's insufficient competition and paperwork was harming the U . s . States to keep jobs which are moving with other nations.

But above all else, Romney appeared amazed through the Wawa computer systems, that they talked about.

"You press just a little touchtone key pad… You touch this, touch this, touch this, go spend the money for cashier, and there is your sandwich," Romney stated. "It's amazing!"
