Teen left for dead in alaska building about to be demolished


Police in Alaska will work to solve an unnerving mystery after an anonymous tipster brought these to uncover a seriously beaten and unconscious teen left for dead within an abandoned house which was set to become destroyed, government bodies stated.


A handwritten letter was ended up underneath the door in the College of Alaska Anchorage police department notified police Monday towards the youthful man's location and condition.


"The note left there mentioned that the male have been attacked and it was left inside residence to die," Anchorage Police speaker Jennifer Castro told ABCNews.com. "The individual indicated they could not accept themselves knowing these details and desired to pass it to government bodies."


Police in the college and also the city, showed up in the address in downtown Anchorage suggested for the letter. Within the basement of the home, they found an 18-year-old male unconscious and beaten throughout his "mind, body and face,Inch Castro stated. The victim was rushed to some hospital where he remains in critical condition.


Police later recognized the guy as James Clinton, 18, an Anchorage resident.


The condemned house is possessed by Covenant House, a pet shelter destitute and runaway teens. It had been destroyed on Wednesday to create room for any parking area just 2 days after police found Clinton.


Police stated Clinton wasn't students in the college, but wouldn't disclose whether he'd stayed in the shelter.


Police wouldn't say how lengthy they thought Clinton was in the home before he is discovered, stating a continuing criminal analysis. Nor would government bodies confirm whether or not they thought Clinton was mistreated in your home or taken there from elsewhere.
